We are very proud to join The 2016 AIDS Walk in San Francisco! Last year The 420 Games Founder, Jim McAlpine, made it to the top 10 fundraisers, and Team Cannabis was in the top 20 teams. We’re hoping we can have as many join us as possible for this great cause!

Directions & Parking

Public transportation is recommended due to the limited amount of street parking. The following MUNI bus lines stop near the entrance to the park at Stanyan: 5 Fulton, 7 Haight, 21 Hayes, 33 Stanyan, 71 Noriega (at Lincoln), and N Judah (bus before 8 a.m., train after 8 a.m.). The 37 Corbett and 43 Masonic stop about two blocks from the park entrance at Haight and Cole.

We encourage all participants to use public transportation or carpool as there is limited parking available in the neighborhood around Golden Gate Park.

About The AIDS Walk:
Since 1987, AIDS Walk San Francisco has raised $86 million for HIV programs and services in the Bay Area, and has grown into the largest AIDS fundraising event in Northern California.

In 2015, 20,000 participants, many of whom were members of nearly 600 corporate and community teams, raised nearly $2.3 million for Bay Area AIDS service organizations. In 2016, AIDS Walk San Francisco will benefit Project Inform, Ward 86 at San Francisco General Hospital, Project Open Hand and HIV/AIDS programs and services throughout the Bay Area.

The AIDS Walk San Francisco Foundation is now the governing body of AIDS Walk San Francisco. It is composed of a Board of Directors intimately familiar with the Walk and the communities it serves. The Board oversees the event’s production and finances as well as determines how the event’s net proceeds are distributed. Beneficiaries of each year’s AIDS Walk are determined by the Board well in advance of the event to ensure an informed community of participants and donors.
